Group Fitness Classes

At Elkridge Athletic Club, we offer group exercise classes catered to all fitness levels to help you achieve your personal fitness goals. Your gym membership gives you access to the area’s best fitness instructors whose aim is to keep you motivated and ensure that your workout is fun, safe, and effective.

Whether you want to lose weight, build muscle, increase flexibility or de-stress, our group classes use a combination of exercises created to deliver your desired results and provide a foundation for overall health and wellness.

Non-Members (do not hold an EAC membership) can come take classes too!!! It's a great way to supplement your workouts, and become familiar with EAC's style if you're new to the gym. We keep the rates affordable to give you the benefit of group exercise if that's all you need from us.

Body Sculpt 

Wednesdays
6pm - 7pm

Work up a sweat while challenging every muscle group in your upper and lower body --- including your core --- in our Body Sculpting Group exercise class. Perfect for any fitness level. (60 minutes)


Bootcamp 

Tuesdays
6pm - 7pm

Saturdays
9:30am-10:30am

This class is a high volume (reps), low resistance (weight) workout with short rest intervals and is geared primarily at improving muscle tone and definition, while improving cardiovascular fitness.


HIIT

Tuesdays
7:15pm – 8:00pm

Thursdays
5:30pm – 6:15pm

This class is the perfect complement to your current cardio workout. Challenge your body with high intensity intervals, plyometrics, short bursts on the spin bike, and a wide variety of equipment. The format is always changing to continue to give you a head to toe, sweaty workout. (45 minutes)


Spin

Wednesdays
7:15pm - 8:15pm

Saturdays
8:15am - 9:15am

Spin provides a great opportunity to start getting in shape with low impact work for your heart and lower body muscles. You'll get the benefit of motivation from the group dynamic while still being able to go at your own pace. If you can sit on a stationary bike, that's all the skill you'll need to get a great workout. (60 minutes) 


Spin & Strength

Mondays
7:15pm - 8:15pm

Spin & Strength is the ultimate intense spin class incorporating light weights and resistance bands to pump up your cardiovascular system to the max, while engaging your core and upper body! (60 minutes) 


TRX

Thursdays
6:15pm - 7:00pm

TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user's body weight to complete the exercises.
